I read romance novels. A lot of romance novels. Probably bordering on too many romance novels. And folks often ask me for recommendations., so here we are. Completely biased reviews of books I have read. FYI – tropes I don’t care for: age gaps, student teacher, bullying, surprise pregnancy, or best friend/ sister slept with main character’s boyfriend or husband ( I am not a huge fan of cheating but will put it down if it is bff or family member cheating). There are of course exceptions to these but generally speaking those are tropes I avoid.
I love funny complex characters. I lean toward enemies to lovers, but mostly I just like a spark between them.
I do not limit my reading. I like sweet sometimes. And I like steamy sometimes. I read historical and contemporary. I read books with all genders and sexual preferences (including why chose). Paranormal, fae, witches and werewolves? Sure sometimes. I guess what I am saying is I will read just bout anything.
My favorite books are the ones I read slowly because I don’t want them to end.
